John Denver Tribute
starring Ted Vigil
Thursday, April 3, 2014
University Union, Multi-Purpose Room, 7:30 p.m.

The legendary John Denver was a brilliant songwriter and a truly gifted performer.
His music was a combination of romance (“Annie’s Song”), folk (“Leavin’ on a Jet Plane”),
country (“Thank God I’m a Country Boy”) and environmentalist (“Calypso”).
Ted Vigil, a man who closely resembles John both physically and musically,
is carrying on John Denver’s inspiring legacy. Ted is not an impersonator: rather he sings
a tribute to this colossal musical icon, performing with long-time Denver guitar
accompanist Steve Weisberg.
