‘Burgh Bits and Bites Food Tour

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015
Lawrenceville and Bloomfield, Pa.
Artsy, funky, friendly and tasty

Lawrenceville is a walking tour rich in American history and replete with creative and unique businesses. Both the historic content and the food on this tour represent Lawrenceville’s past history as a blue-collar working community and its recent up-scale and artistic renaissance into the hip, urban neighborhood it has become.

Bloomfield is an Italian-German neighborhood and is known as Little Italy. This tour carves a path through the streets of Bloomfield as we visit colorful shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

The trip features both neighborhoods as we sample pizza, pasta, biscotti, Greek and Latin/Asian fusion delights.

• $50 includes tour, tastes and coach transportation.
• $35 includes tour and tastes, no transportation
(SRU students should inquire about additional savings.)

The bus boards at noon at the SRU Alumni House and will depart Pittsburgh at 5 p.m.

The tour takes place rain or shine. This is a walking tour - wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. Food is eaten as we walk.
